Green Jobs Report - July (28th July/29th July in APAC)

Are "greener" jobs lost more during recessions? Or are greener jobs with firms treating planet and people better more resilient?

Join ESGX to learn if "green jobs" (based on high HIP Ratings of products, people, and planet) are more prevalent in expanding economies, or during contraction cycles like the global COVID-19 pandemic.

Plus, we will learn how local leaders in the United States heartland of Ohio are taking action to drive towards 100% renewable energy, and pursue "green new deals," with insights from the local campaign leaders.

We will discuss the following questions:
  1. How are countries performing economically during Covid-19?
  2. Are "green" jobs growing or shrinking during Covid-19?
  3. Which industries are most impacted during the pandemic?
  4. What programs and policy-making are possible?

Our special guests:
Dr. Scott Fullwiler, Associate Professor in Economics, University of Missouri at Kansas City
Dr. Fadhel Kaboub, Associate Professor of Economics at Denison University, and President of the Global Institute for Sustainable Prosperity
Amir Khaleghi, PhD candidate in Economics, University of Missouri at Kansas City
Kurt Lieberman, Chairman and CEO of Magni Global
