Countdown to 2021 (10th November/11th in APAC)

Where now for America?
Register Here
With the US election now over bar the shouting (a lot of shouting...), it's time to reflect on what the outcome means for the USA.  Whatever your politics,  the results of the Presidential, Senate, House and Gubernatorial races will have profound implications both for life and business in the USA, and also for America's relationship with the world.

In this special episode of ESGX Live, we will dissect the results very briefly, and then explore the implications for:
  • The economic outlook for the US, including the approach to helping businesses and communities rebuilding following the impact of the COVID-19 crisis
  • Progress on matters related to the environment, including climate change, as well as social justice and others similar matters
  • Businesses operating in the USA – where the backdrop is the ongoing impact of the Robot Revolution (“future of work” or “future of society” as I prefer) and the importance of work that involves and intrinsic human element
  • The way that America operates as a democracy and the broader implications for geopolitics in 2021 and beyond

We're delighted that the discussion will be moderated by Cassandra Kelly and as always we will answer as many questions from our audience as we can.  Meanwhile, we'll be joined by a fantastic panel from around the world, including:
  • Blair Palese, an environmentalist and activist, co-founder of 350.org in Australia and consultant to a range of initiatives including C40 and XDI, who joins us from Sydney, Australia
  • Rishad Tobaccowala, an advisor, author, educator and speaker with four decades of experience focused on change, innovation and re-invention, author of  “Restoring the Soul Of Business” and previously head of growth at Publicis Groupe, who joins us from Chicago
  • Prof Andrew Preston, a Canadian historian, who won the 2013 Charles Taylor Prize for his book Sword of the Spirit, Shield of Faith: Religion in American War and Diplomacy, who is now a fellow at Clare College, Cambridge
