On 20th March, the IPCC published its Synthesis Report, including a dire 'final warning' of the consequences of ongoing inaction on climate change, describing climate change as "a grave and mounting threat to our wellbeing and a healthy planet" and emphasizing that humanity was now approaching a "point of no return".

With dark messages like this filling the media, it is easy to feel despair given the severity of the challenges that we now face. Nevertheless, if you take the time to look at
real-world innovations that are being brought to life and investments that are being made week by week, there is also cause for urgent optimism.

With this in mind, and to mark three years of ESGX Live, on 28th March (29th in APAC), we will host a special episode dedicated to celebrating the significant progress that is being made implementing climate solutions around the world. We will explore questions such as:
  • Which technologies are showing the most exciting progress?
  • Where is policy support proving particularly effective?
  • Who are the most active investors, and what is attracting them?

We'll be joined by guests covering almost every continent, including:
  • Angelica Rotondaro, Alimi Impact Ventures (Brazil, South America)
  • Ger Duany author and activist (South Sudan, Africa)
  • Monica Richter of WWF (Australia)
as well as your co-hosts co-hosts Paul Herman of HIP Investor (France, Europe) and Nigel Lake of Pottinger (USA, North America).

As always, this episode will be live and interactive, with a particular focus on practical actions that businesses, governments and individuals can take -- and the economic and ecological benefits of doing so.
