On 20th March, the IPCC published its Synthesis Report, including a dire 'final warning' of the consequences of ongoing inaction on climate change, describing climate change as "a grave and mounting threat to our wellbeing and a healthy planet" and emphasizing that humanity was now approaching a "point of no return".
With dark messages like this filling the media, it is easy to feel despair given the severity of the challenges that we now face.
