As part of the rebuild, install solar panels on every school - and batteries too. In Australia, they will generate power for export to the grid after school finishes - now the peak period in the day as the noon peak has been shaved by solar PV already.  And, during peak demand during the summary, this capacity will be 100% for export as schools are out on holiday.
